Lorena James is from Buffalo’s East Side and works at the intersection of environmental justice, agriculture, and community resilience. Through her role with Nature For Justice, she supports BIPOC farmers in adopting regenerative practices, building markets, and protecting their land. She also leads Invasive Impact Initiatives, a youth-driven platform that transforms invasive species into tools for education, art, and climate action. Her work weaves together local knowledge, creative reuse, and intergenerational collaboration to build a more just and sustainable future.
